How to install the mini hub?

There are the operation as below:

  1. Install “HomeMate” client into smart phone, download from APP STORE or Google Play Store.
  2. Power on the mini hub, connect your mobile phone and mini hub to the same router.
  3. Enter “HomeMate” app, Tap “+” symbol on the up right corner, then click the “Smart Hub” option. Tap “ZigBee Mini Hub”, then tap “Start to add”.
  4. Wait for “HomeMate” APP to search your hub. Then click “Add” button.
  5. Remember to Tap “Save”. Installation completed, you can continual to add other ZigBee devices.
How could I know whether the smart hub is configured successfully?

Please go to the “Me” page on “HomeMate” APP, then you can find the smart hub on “My Hub” page.

What can I do if the configuration is failure?

There are several reasons as below

  1. Please check if your router can support wireless IEEE802.11b/g/n standard.
  2. Please make sure your router security mechanism is WEP, WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK, we recommend WPA/WPA2.
  3. Please check if your router has open DHCP.
  4. Please check if you had power on the Smart Hub and connected well to network.
  5. Please check if your mobile phone and Smart Hub connected to the same router.
  6. Please check if you had add this Smart Hub to another account.
  7. None of the above, according to the manual please configure again.
Why does the smart hub backlight is rapidly blinking after configure?

The smart hub is upgrading, please keep the smart hub power on for five minutes.

How does the smart hub connect to the router if change a new one?

Please connect your mini hub to the new router by network cable. Then power on the smart hub, and it will connect to network itself.

How many ZigBee devices can be added to the mini hub?

How to restore default setting?

Long press the button on the mini hub for 6 seconds, the STA LED light will turn off, wait about one minute until the LED light turn on, which means that the device has been reset.

  • STA indicator light keeps on: Working normally.
  • ZigBee indicator light flashes once time: One device has been triggered.
  • ZigBee indicator light keeps slowly flashing: Searching devise.

How to set the time zone?

Allow HomeMate to get the GPS on your mobile phone, then reset the mini hub and add it to HomeMate app again.

How to install the Magic Cube?

There are the operation as below:

  1. Install “HomeMate” client into smart phone, download from APP STORE or Google Play Store.
  2. Power on the Magic Cube, Long press Magic Cube for 6 seconds until you see a rapid flashing RED LED light on Magic Cube.
  3. Enter “HomeMate” app, Tap “+” symbol on the up right corner, then click the “Remote” option. Tap “Magic Cube”, then tap “Next”.
  4. Select “HomeMate_AP” from network list. Then go back to “HomeMate”, key-in the password of your router or modem with internet and Wi-Fi access, tap “Connect”.
  5. Wait for 60 seconds while the HomeMate APP is seaching for your Magic Cube.
  6. Remember to Tap “Save”. Installation completed, you can continual to add remote control.
How could I know whether the Magic Cube is configured successfully?

If it is configured successfully the indicator light will keep BLUE on.

What can I do if the configuration is failure?

There are several reasons as below:

  1. Please check if your router can support wireless IEEE802.11b/g/n standard.
  2. Please make sure your router security mechanism is WEP, WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK, we recommend WPA/WPA2.
  3. Please check if your router is 2.4G and open DHCP.
  4. Please check if the Magic Cube flashing RED light when you start to add it.
  5. Please check if your router can connect to network.
  6. Please check if you give the right password with Wi-Fi.
  7. None of the above, according to the manual please configure again.
Why does the Magic Cube backlight is slowly blinking after configure?

Please check as below:

  1. Please check if router has a specific setting, such as security protection, user name is requested, password for connection.
  2. Wrong password
  3. Router DHCP is closed.
  4. Router prevents Magic Cube connecting.
How does the Magic Cube connect to the router if change a new one?

Please configure Magic Cube and wireless router again.

The Magic Cube can be controlled only at home?

No, you can control Magic Cube anywhere there is network available for your smart phone.

Why does the Magic Cube show offline sometimes?

Please check if Wi-Fi is disconnected or not available, and try to restart router.

What kinds of home appliances apply for Magic Cube?

Work with Air condition, TV, Fan, Loudspeaker Box, Projector, which can be controlled by infrared remote control.

May I control several devices at same time?

Yes

How to add a remote control?

Enter Magic Cube’s Page, Tap “Add remote control”, Select the appliances you need, Choose brand of your appliance and match remote control.

How to add a timer?

Please click the “…” button on the remote control, go to the setting page and then select “timer” start to add a new timer.

What can I do if my appliance isn’t in the brand list?

Please add a custom remote control, add the button you need and learn the IR code one by one.
